Stockton International Riverside Festival
A1305 Riverside will be closed on Tuesday 27 July at 6pm until Tuesday 3 August at 6pm.
Access to Castlegate car park and Quayside Road will be maintained.
The signed diversion route is to use Maritime Road - Allison Street - Leeds Street - Victoria Street - Nelson Terrace - Prince Regent Street.
High Street closed from Wednesday 28 July at 7pm until Monday 2 August at 3am.
Community Carnival - Saturday, 31 July 2010 approx 11.55am until 1pm
The Carnival parade route starts at Thistle Green - Church Rd - northern bus loop - High Street - southern bus loop - Bridge Rd - Churchyard Link Rd - ends at Trinity Green.
From 11.55am Thistle Green will be closed and Church Road will be closed west of Bath Lane, traffic must also be stopped at the traffic signals on Church Road. The Carnival should have passed through this area by 12.10pm it will be re-opened once the Carnival has got through the northern bus loop. Temporary bus stops on Prince Regent Street will be used during this time when the northern bus loop is closed.
From 12.20pm Yarm Lane, Tower Street and Park Terrace will be closed at their junction with Bridge Road and the link between Churchyard Link Rd and Bridge Rd will be closed. To prevent parking in this area, the on street parking bays will be closed all morning.
Parkfield Road from the Parliament Street car park access, Churchyard Link Road and the circulatory area of Halfords roundabout will be closed from 12.45pm until approximately 1pm. Delays are unavoidable but as soon as the Carnival has arrived at Trinity Green this area will re-open.
The Fireworks Finale - Sunday, 1 August 2010 approx 9.30pm - 11.30pm
The pedestrian route from the Fringe festival on A1305 Riverside is via Tower Street - Bridge Road - Churchyard Link Road which will be kept clear of traffic during this time. The fringe will finish at approx 10pm and the finale is expected to start on Trinity Green at 10.30pm. Both roundabouts at either end of Churchyard Link Road will remain open. The signed diversion route will be through Teesdale.
